We got Willow in early February from an elderly lady who just could not handle this ball of energy. Many times we were warned that she is a handful and the previous owner was very concerned about us being competent enough owners to handle this puppy. Well we weren't dissuaded and it turns out the lady's claims were quite exaggerated. Willow is a lovely dog and so eager to please! We could not be happier with out little ball of fur. She is a terrier mix and will be a perfect size for our travels when she matures. She could not have come at a better time either as just shortly beforehand our stray cat Happy left us.
It may sound silly, but I want to make little Willow some leather dog armor, with strategically placed spikes so that when we are hiking around any wild coyote or other predator will have a harder time inflicting injury. Not only purposeful armor I also wish to make her some L.A.R.P. armor for when we go role play and participate in medieval recreation and historical anachronism.
