Ashley Peck, cellist and pianist in Portland, Oregon, is experienced both as a music educator as well as a performer. With a strong background in classical music, Ms. Peck enjoys a wide variety of musical styles. While her teaching methods are generally traditional, her goal is for her students to experience joy in their musical ventures. With a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Portland State University, Ms. Peck's performing career is also mostly classically based, but she enjoys diversity in her performing repertoire. She has appeared with musicians ranging from the legendary maestro, Janos Starker, to the hip and modern, Kanye West. She has studied with such teachers as Portland's own cellist, Hamilton Cheifetz, and the Pacific Northwest favorite pianist, Dr. Rachelle McCabe.
